A Canadian firm, Nelvana Enterprises, has sued an Oklahoma medical cannabis dispensary over violation of a logo. Associated Press reported that Nelvana accused Treehouse Dispensaries of copying a logo the Canadian firm has used since the 90s for a children’s TV program.

However, a lawyer representing the dispensaries has distanced himself from the allegation, citing that his client has made steps to change the logo to eliminate further confusion.

The Nelvana lawsuit seeks the authority to confiscate and destroy products that have abused its logo. Furthermore, Nelvana wants to claim financial damages from the American firm.
